Introduction to 21st century Steam Engine Technology

I'm pleased to be working with a company called Cozby Enterprises, INC. in Montana which is working on perfecting new Rankine Steam Engines for clean; more sustainable engery that will give America energy independence.
Steam engine technology has come along way, and we believe that the uses in the near future are numerious including automobiles, planes, and power plants to name a few. Here is an letter written by John Cozby, President of Cozby Enterprises, INC.

That future steam engines of greatly improved efficiency are conceivable: that these engines can be clean and multi-fuel: and that they can be small but powerful: are some of the more significant findings of the United States Department of Energy. These conclusions are excerpted from the Department of Energy’s official report published under the title, “An Assessment of the Technology of Rankine Engines For Automobiles”. This report also finds that a major program of expander (steam engine) research and development is needed. The report further states that engines for vehicle propulsion, such as the piston-type steam engine of advanced design, potentially offer a satisfactory alternative to the present automobile.
These findings of the U.S. Department of Energy are true and valid. They are consistent with the experience of advanced steam technology applied throughout the world in electrical power generation. Steam powers much of our Navy. These DOE conclusions are also supported by steam engine practice dating back as early as 1921. These conclusions are in answer to the identified need of a real “green car”. These conclusions are the best solution to President Obama’s automotive rules. These conclusions contribute to greatly reducing carbon dioxide emissions. These DOE conclusions are also in accord with the research and design work of Cozby Enterprises, Inc. in cooperation with the State of Montana and MSE, Inc. Most importantly, Cozby Enterprises knows how to develop these conceivable concept designs into reality. With help, these “conceivable concepts” can be realized for the good of all.
With proper expander design coupled with present day support technologies of instrumentation, controls, and computer aided processors and programs truly remarkable advances can be made. Modern materials and metallurgy can handle the high pressure and temperature required for best practice. America’s automotive industry can regain its place as the world’s leader. Developing advanced Rankine cycle engine powered cars and trucks is the best, surest, and quickest way for the American auto industry to become strong and vibrant again.
Advanced steam engines (advanced Rankine cycle engine technology) are by far the best alternative for the future automobile that there is. What is lacking is the needed commitment to a major program of expander (steam engine) research and development as is clearly identified by the U.S. Department of Energy.
Let us be wise and courageous. Let us meet the challenge. Let us go forward. Let America lead the way. The principles and concepts are sound and proven. The world is waiting. The need is great. The stakes are high, the rewards are huge. Success is certain.
